ABOUT ME
I offer grammar and conversation lessons for adults.
TEACHING AND EDUCATION BACKGROUND
I'm a native English speaker with a TEFL certificate. I've been teaching one-on-one English for three years, both online and in-person.
Lessons for adults only.
I recommend taking a trial lesson first so we can get to know each other, discuss your goals, and decide on a starting point for your lessons.
TEACHING STYLE
My General English lessons are a great way to help build vocabulary and grammar and to acquire and practice using everyday phrases.
For intermediate students, the excitement of being able to finally have conversations in a foreign language can make it very tempting to avoid grammar and vocabulary lessons in favor of only conversation practice. However, by including some lessons that focus on reducing errors, you will see more progress than through conversation alone. That's why I suggest a combination of general English lessons and conversation rather than only one or the other.
I do not currently offer lessons for children.
