Hello, everyone! My name is Yuri. I’m a qualified Japanese teacher.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
Conversation lessons will continue to be opened as always!
よろしくおねがいします。

About my lesson(^^♪

In my lesson, let's talk a lot in Japanese.
Let’s talk freely on your favorite topics.

I love to communicate with people so even if you make a mistake in Japanese or you feel that you are not good at speaking, that’s okay!
I support you so you can enjoy my lessons in a  relaxed atmosphere.

I work in a department store in Japan, so I can teach Japanese etiquettes and honorific expressions too.

If you are a beginner who has just started learning Japanese, I recommend you start learning from how to write Japanese letters(hiragana and katakana) and elementary grammar.  I can understand English too, so please rest assured if you are worried about lessons only in Japanese.

Moreover, I am preparing fun lessons for people who are interested in Japanese pop songs, so let’s enjoy studying Japanese together!

About me

2013-

I went to an international high school and studied English and Spanish. I studied abroad in the UK and Indonesia for a short period of time. I have accepted many students from overseas as a host family.

2016-2020

At university, I majored in Mongolian in the Faculty of Foreign Languages. I had a lot of interaction with foreign exchange students so I studied Korean and Chinese and taught them Japanese as a volunteer.

As a part time job, I worked for a cram school and I taught English to junior high and high school students for three years.

2021-

I am working at a department store in Japan.

I passed the Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test and got the certifications for a Japanese teacher.

My Favorite Things

〇Sports (swimming, tennis, ice skating, etc.)

〇Travel (I’ve been to the US, the UK, Mongolia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Cambodia. I also like to travel around Japan, so please ask me anything you want to know, such as recommended places and delicious food shops in Japan.)

〇Listening to music and singing

(I love to sing because I’ve learned the piano and traditional Japanese music "shiginn" for 6 years.)

〇Flower Arrangement

〇Studying a foreign language

(I have studied many languages such as English, Spanish, Mongolian, Korean, and Chinese.)

It's very fun to learn languages and learn about cultures and
the countries, isn't it?

From my lessons, I want you to learn not only the Japanese language itself, but also to get to know a lot about Japanese culture and life too. I hope it will be a good opportunity for you to like Japan more.

I will do lessons according to your level and request so feel free to ask me if you have any questions. Let’s learn Japanese together with fun!
