I have been teaching English for the past four years, both online and in-person. I have taught online full-time since September 2021.
In this time I have worked with students aged between 6 and 60+ from all around the world. I have discovered how much I enjoy teaching IELTS, particularly to those wanting to study in the UK.
I have both a TEFL and a CELTA qualification and recently took an IELTS preparation course for teachers. I sat the IELTS exam in May 2022 and achieved a Band 9.
I take a student-based approach to teaching to reduce the anxieties that can sometimes be associated with language learning. Each learner is different and therefore I adapt my classes to match each learner's individual needs, goals and struggles.
