Teacher Kate 讲师的个人介绍
Drawing from my extensive background in English language education spanning five years, I have honed my teaching skills in both virtual and traditional classroom settings. My journey began in 2018 when I embarked on my career as an English Teacher at the University of the Philippines. Over the past half-decade, I've served as an Online English Teacher, working with students of all age groups. In addition, I have obtained both TESOL and TEYL certificates, emphasizing my unwavering dedication to this field.
From a young age, I aspired to become a teacher, recognizing the profound value of education. This aspiration was further fueled by my academic achievements, where I ranked second in elementary and first in high school. Subsequently, I diligently pursued a scholarship at the University of the Philippines, culminating in my graduation as the third highest achiever with a Bachelor's degree in Education, majoring in English.
During my university years, I actively engaged in promoting the love of reading by serving as an ambassador for reading organizations, where I offered complimentary English reading lessons to primary and high school students. My goal was to share my passion for literature and English communication with these young minds.
As an educator, I firmly believe in the potential of every student. In each of my lessons, I wholeheartedly strive to engage my students and provide them with enriching and enjoyable learning experiences. I hold the belief that an effective teacher possesses strong empathy skills, and I make it a point to actively listen and address the individual needs of each student. Throughout my teaching journey, I have not only acted as an instructor but also as a supportive friend and advisor to countless students, spanning from children to adults. My dedication has been recognized with the honor of being named the best teacher during my five years of teaching online.
Apart from my teaching commitments, I am a dedicated runner and cyclist, both of which have been cherished hobbies that significantly enhance my physical and mental well-being. Moreover, my canine companion is not only a beloved friend but has also formed meaningful connections with my students.
With great enthusiasm, I look forward to sharing my passion and expertise to guide students on their language learning journey.
