S.Y Park Tutor Profile

Hello! My name is Park Su Yong and I am a Korean language teacher.

I was born in Seoul and after graduating from high school, I went to Japan to study.

I didn't even know Hirakana, but after graduating from university I was able to find a job and live in Japan for over 10 years.

When I first came to Japan, I couldn't even write my own name because, at the time, we didn't learn Kanji in Korea.

However, I was saved by the Japanese grammar, which is very similar to Korean.

The more I learnt, the more I really enjoyed the Japanese language.

Wouldn't you like to experience that feeling?

"Wow, they understand what I said!!!!"

"Oh my God! I can actually understand what they're saying!!!!" And so on.

It is a great pleasure when your mouth and ears gradually become accustomed to a single short sentence and it leads to a conversation.

Hangul, like the alphabet, has consonants and vowels, which are combined to make letters. Those one or two letters further create a word.

If you understand how it works, improve your vocabulary and practise your pronunciation thoroughly, and the similar grammar will help you.

Just like it helped me!

I used to teach Korean at a language school in Japan.

At that time, when the Korean wave boom started, many people got interested in Korea.

Many of the students who studied Korean chose to study abroad because they wanted to properly study Korean.

They told me that they liked Korea through Hangul, not only Korean dramas and celebrities.

One of the reasons was that it was difficult to meet a real Korean teacher in Japan.

Times have changed and now I can meet you all like this through the internet!

If you start studying with me here, you won't be nervous that you can't speak a word in front of a real Korean, even if you know the grammar!

This is because you are already talking to a Korean.

Come join me and have some fun by learning Korean together!
