About Me:
I earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Literature and a Master of Arts (M.A.) in English from the University of Guam.
I taught English writing classes at the university level for nine years. I have also worked as a reading tutor with a local company that specializes in helping primary and secondary school students. My students ranged in age from 5 years old to over 60 years old, and they come from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
About my Teaching Style and Lessons:
Because of my experiences, I understand the challenges of learning a new language. Sometimes it can be frustrating and even a little scary, but I am patient and want to help you succeed!
I believe that learning is a collaborative process, and I encourage my students to take an active role in their education. I am able to use a variety of learning materials including worksheets, articles, videos, practice conversations, and more.
