Greetings – My name is Clive, and I am a native English-speaking South African. Most of my working life has been spent helping myself and others grow, develop and reach their full potential. This is my passion in life!

I have taught over 200 English second language online lessons to Japanese business executives, and have received excellent student ratings, for both professionalism and teaching ability. For professionalism, my average score is 4.9 while for teaching ability I have a score of 4.4 out of 5

I have also taught English as both a first and a second language at high school.

I hold an associate degree (with English literature, Geography & Physical Education, and teaching methodology) from one of South Africa’s top universities as well as a TEFL 5 (300 hr) diploma.

My main focus is teaching business English & skills to executives who want to either expand their businesses into new markets, increase their promotion prospects or improve their job opportunities.

My experience of almost 40 years in business and coaching business leaders, managers, and sales executives, together with a 3.5-year diploma from the Institute Of Marketing Management Of South Africa, gives me the ideal combination of academic achievement and business achievement to help you achieve your goals.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Clients who undertake any extra studies are intelligent, ambitious and motivated. This is how I treat my clients and how I prepare my lessons. My lesson delivery is that of taking each and every client on a voyage of discovery so that I assist them to discover the information that is relevant to them. Another part of my lessons is helping them apply the information that they have learned.

I have both customized lessons as well as pre-structured lessons. Clients can choose which they prefer.

My lessons are aimed at university students and business professionals at the intermediate and advanced levels.
