Hello. I hope that you are all doing well.
My name is Anna. I am an English as a second language instructor. My qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, a TEFL, and CELTA certification.

My professional experience includes eight years of teaching in Vietnam.
I have worked for two language centers, teaching English to a variety of students encompassing diverse backgrounds. From beginners to advanced students, from very young learners to adults. Most classes were face-to-face, but I’ve also taught Business English online for six months. I was able to work for a year in a Montessori. I taught English to very young learners from 3-8 years old.

In my spare time, I do a little bit of yoga. I love watching comedy shows like Friends, HIMYM, and TBBT. Game of Thrones though would have to be my favorite TV show. My favorite movie is The Dark Knight Trilogy.
I’m also a student now, taking an 18 unit course on Professional Teaching Certification which will give me a license to teach in elementary or secondary school.

I love traveling. I have been to a lot of Asian countries and some countries in Europe. I have taught private students in Rome, Italy. During the height of the pandemic, I was living and also teaching private students online in Spain because I took my CELTA in Barcelona. After that, I was in Garmany and again, teaching private students. Now, most of these classes were conversational English.
I have worked as an online coach for an American company based in Chile. I coach students who are about to take Cambridge’s English Proficiency exams like KET and PET. I also teach Business, Academic, and conversational English.
Living in different countries, I understand the struggle of not feeling confident in your ability to get around by yourself with limited knowledge of using their language. Growing up, I had to learn two languages and a dialect at the same time. Right now, I’m trying to learn Vietnamese and Spanish. So I can relate to how difficult it can be to learn a new language. With this, I am very patient and will never rush you. I will do my best to make you feel comfortable and at ease.
