About me:


Hello! My name is Terry. I am a native English speaker from South Africa. I am an organised, patient and friendly person. I'm a determined hard worker who puts in the best effort. 

Ever since I was young, I've lived abroad in 4 countries (Nigeria, Hong Kong, Belgium & France) and went to school in Hong Kong, Belgium & France. Living abroad has introduced me to a world of different cultures and backgrounds. It also developed my love for wanting to travel around the world.

Qualifications:

I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Live Performance (Acting), as I've been passionate in pursuing an acting career. I was recommended by my cousin to pursue a career in TEFL and this led me to complete a 120-Hour course in TEFL from late April to July. I am now certified to teach English as a foreign language.

Hobbies & Interests:

In my free time, I love to listen to music, read books, dance, sing songs, watch movies & TV shows. Sometimes I like to practice acting by reciting scripts out loud. 

Lesson Style:
  • Fun and engaging 
  • I offer lessons on conversational English, topics/free talk, grammar, tenses & many more. 
  • Lessons are open to kids, students and adults. All ages are welcome!
  • My lessons will also be customised & adjusted for all levels of learning.
It is an amazing experience for people of all ages to learn English, as it will help them communicate with anyone and broaden their knowledge. Everyone's learning pace is unique and different, so there's no need to worry about time. Take your own time while learning a new language.
