About me.
I am Veronika - a near-native English speaker and an English teacher with 8 years of experience teaching young learners and adults online and face-to-face.
I am also a certified IELTS instructor and I have a CELTA (Cambridge English Language Teacher for Adults) qualification. My personal IELTS Academic Band score is 8.
My teaching journey started back in 2014 when I graduated from the College of the Albemarle in North Carolina, USA and came back to my country to become a teacher. Since then I have taken various courses for teachers to master my skills and increase the level of proficiency.
I also designed and ran several English courses of my own, including the one based entirely on Authentic materials.

My teaching method.
My teaching method.
In my teaching I mainly use Communicative approach, which means that my lessons are student-centered and I try to maximise your speaking time: You speak - I guide, that is what you can surely expect of my lessons.
In addition, being a visual learner myself, I often provide visual materials to students, such as, flashcards, images or diagrams.
As I mentioned before, a few years ago I created an English course that was fully based on authentic materials. If you are interested in working with genuine sources of information, I will gladly design a lesson for you.

Other interests.
Apart from English, I am a self-taught watercolor artist. My passion for watercolors started about five years ago. Since then I have been painting mostly with the help of YouTube watercoloring videos.
