Hello everyone :) My name is Jes, born and raised in Singapore. I have been teaching English for over 8 years to children ages 6 to 12, both online and offline. I have taught students from China and Japan. Hence, I will prepare the lessons accordingly to make it easy and fun for you. 

About me:
I have always loved traveling, and with the world opening up, I look forward to traveling more, meeting new people along the way. It's always such a fun experience to meet the locals, learn more of their cultures and I love good delicious food. My dream destination is Mexico! Let me know yours! 

How I can help you: 
As a teacher, I would love to help you to speak confidently, understand what your goals are, perhaps to improve your conversational skills. I will help you to communicate well with others and to present your ideas across easily. I will guide you on pronunciation and grammar rules too while having fun. Beginners are most welcome! We will progress at your comfort level and pace. 

I am happy to customize lessons to suit your needs. Feel free to reach out anytime. 
 
★What our lessons will look like
A relaxed casual conversation, as though you are talking with a friend. I will teach you the everyday type of conversations, words we speak or use daily, how to apply the grammar rules. 

If you will like to widen your vocabulary, I am happy to teach you new words. We can read short passages as well, to work on your pronunciation. 

My goals on Cafetalk: 
  • create a comfortable and open environment for you
  • Help and encourage you to build your confidence in speaking English
  • Creating lessons that are engaging, fun and meaningful for you
  • Give positive feedbacks after every lesson
