This is my all time favourite book. I love that its ending can be interpreted in different ways, the characters are not black and white good or bad, and its flowery language. It's good for learners who want to learn about the language and culture, as well.

It merges the story of the main character with mexican recipes even though is a romantic novel not a recipe book.

Fight Club is an interesting story, and it offers many views and insights about the modern society, capitalism, consumerism, and it's very provocative since it criticizes many aspects of modern society. Both the book and the movie are well made, so I appreciate both equally. These works offer much food for thought.

I recommend the family ties that are shown in the movie. However in the Korean remade drama of this book I recommend the lesson of avoiding the love of money.
