You only know fingerspelling (ABC's)? You've never taken a class of ASL? No worries! This class is for you! Fingerspelling and vocabulary are foundation of ASL learning. I will explain the 4 parameters of sign structure, and focus on them so you understand and produce correct signs. At the same time, my curriculum will also train you in grammar, expressive skills, and receptive skills. Half of the ASL grammar is what you show on your face, and they are very important. Don't be shy! Let's make some unique facial expressions while we practice ASL!My experience in interpreting and teaching ASL are strongly reflected in my curriculum.
