This is a Canada joke :) American TV programs always stereotype Canadians as being terribly polite. I certainly don't consider this a bad thing, eh?

Hi Bettie! Being in Canada only 5 years, I believe the stereotype is quite true! Everyone is very nice and polite -- especially compared to many Americans. Americans are also nice, but maybe not so polite. Just my thoughts. . . Thank you for your post!
