Hi everyone! My name is Salomée, I'm a French teacher on CafeTalk, and I also offer English conversation practice.
I recently obtained a Master's Degree in English Studies, and I'm very happy to offer a new class related to my studies: Learn English through Literature!
I am not a native English speaker, yet I have written a Master's thesis in English in the field of British Literature - and I would really like to share my passion with you.
In this class, we will be reading Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, a novel that I have studied at University and which I adore. You will have the opportunity to practice reading comprehension, pronunciation and to improve your vocabulary - while discovering a masterpiece of British Literature. We will also be discussing the excerpts that we read, and we will progress through the novel at your own pace.
If you are an intermediate learner of English and have an interest in literature, this class might be especially interesting for you!
