My holiday in Bad Wildbad

The adventure in the “Schwarzwald”

I've recently returned from my short vacation in the mountains in a southern German town called Bad Wildbad: a small town located in the middle of the famous and mysterious Black Forest.

This was the first mountain holiday of my life and the first time I've visited this wonderful place, surrounded by nature; it is a dark, uncontaminated and immense forest.

At the centre of the forest, there is the tall wooden tower named the Treetop Walk, with an overall length of 1,250 metres. At the top of the tower, there is a high and large slide. Obviously, I climbed to its peak and slid down. The descent lasted 50 seconds. It was exciting and fun. I love dynamic and adrenaline attractions.

The next day we visited the wellness path in the park, in fact there are several streams and the water coming from the mountains is rich in mineral salts that are good for the skin... even though that water was really cold.

We submerged our hands and feet in this miraculous water. It was relaxing and beneficial.

I did not expect such wonders and I was surprised. It is a cosy and private town, hidden in the mountains covered by the Black Forest.

I recommend this destination to all fans of the mountains and relaxation - and also of adventure because there is a lot to explore and discover in the forest.
