yuka.t.33

催 ⇒ サイ・もよお⁻す hold,give(a)party/encourage(growth in business,etc)/rush/urge

While I was watching the weathter on TV,weather  forecaster talked about
the word "saikau".
I hadn't heard that word until then.
It is a seasonal word describing April when we write 'haiku poems'.
We don't usually use the word.
So you would think there is no need to learn it because
it is not going to be on the JLPT!
But I don't agree!!!
Each kanji is not difficult. Other than that, it is useful to learn
the meaning of kanjis.
Because you can roughly imagine the meaning of sentence you are reading.

Therefore "saikau"花雨 means early spring rain just like urging plants to bloom.

Let’s enjoy learning Japanese with me(大阪のおばちゃんです)!!!
