Living on my own axis

Living on my own axis

Today, I am going to talk about 'some tips on how to live our lives'.

You may have heard of the news about a powerful speech given at the University of Tokyo's entrance ceremony in April 2023.

The speaker, a graduate of the school, asked the audience: 'Do you know how many days you will live in your lifetime?' I was struck by this question because I had never thought in such a way like many people.

Some people may know the average life expectancy. You can work it out like this: 365 days a year × 80 years of average life expectancy is about 30,000 days! Now you have a rough idea of the amount of time you have left.

I think it's up to you how you live, while some people may live or behave because they want to be recognized by someone, others may behave as they wish.

However, from the speech earlier, I thought that I would like to take my life rather than live according to other people's opinions or criteria. One reason is that I would say that life is the time of our own lives and is so precious for everyone. Another reason is that someone can't live your life.

What do we have to do to live on my own axis, what should we do?

First of all, you have to decide what your purpose in life is. Do you know all these things like this?

For example, what do you want to do with your life?

What is your way of thinking?

What is your sense of value?

What are you going to be like?

And what is your own mission?

Could you answer all of these questions?

In addition, you will make them so that you will take the time in your life to put more effort into achieving and then realizing these things that you have considered earlier.

As you do this, you concentrate on your own purpose in life and take some time to deal with people who like you and with things. Such a person, who never wavers, begins to think that you don't have time to deal with people who don't like you and with things as time goes by.

I hope you will become aware of these secrets of life.

Thank you for being with me as always.

See you next time
