Prepositions after verbs (?)

This is one of the trickiest parts of the language so I have compliled a few examples to make it easier for people to remember verbs and prespositions pairings:

She apologised for being late.

 

I applied for the job but I didn't get it.

 

I can't go to the party tonight because I have to prepare for a presentation at work tomorrow.

 

 

Sunscreen protects you from the harmful rays.

 

He saved someone from drowning.

 

Come on! We're relying on you!

 

Nobody responded to my email.

 

I agree with you.

 

He thanked me for everything.

 

I usually like to listen to Jazz music. It relaxes me.
