This summer is very hot and long! Today, it is 33 degrees Celsius. In my hometown, it is 38 degrees Celsius! That is too hot!
In Texas, we drive everywhere. We don’t have to walk in the hot sun. However, in Japan, I don’t have a car! I have to walk for a long time to get to my job.
I always carry a parasol. I also use a handheld electric fan. I sometimes forget to charge it, though! Then, I use a folding fan. I have a really big one. In America, since we use cars, we don’t need to use a fan or a parasol.
However, I always use sunglasses! My eyes are light brown, so I need sunglasses. In America, sunglasses are more popular than parasols. I think parasols are super cute and stylish, though! It’s also important toprotect your skin from the sun. We use cars, but there are still many places where we walk outside, like shopping centers or downtown. I hope they can catch on in America soon. Plus, a sunglasses tan line is not very stylish.
How is your summer going? Let’s talk about it together!
