I visit my family several times a year. I tried to think about how I was spending my time at that time, but I didn't really do anything.
To be more precise, it feels like I'm sharing a relaxing time with my family, doing nothing.It's a good idea to go sightseeing here and there, but I feel like spending time in a familiar home and doing nothing will recharge both my mind and body.
Before, I thought my hometown was a rural place with nothing around, but now I can say it is comfortable. I used to think of it as "a place with nothing," but now I think of it as "a place with wide space." Having space gives me peace of mind. This year, I would like to go to a hot spring nearby with my family.
Which do you prefer, places with a lot of people or places with less people?
Both have their good points, so I think it's hard to choose one. . .

私は年に何回か帰省して、家族に会います。
その時、どんな風に過ごしているかなあ、と考えてみたのですが、特に何もしていないです。
正確に言うと、何もしないのんびりとした時間を家族と共有している、という感じです。
せっかくなので、あちこち観光してもいいのですが、何もせずに慣れ親しんだ家で時間を過ごすと、心身ともに充電される気がします。
以前は、田舎で何もないところだな、と思っていたのですが、今はこの静けさが心地よいです。
「何もないところ」と思っていたのに、離れてみると「ゆったりとした空間があるところ」と思えるようになりました。
空間があると心にも余裕ができますよね。
今年は家族で近場の温泉に行ってみたいと思っています。
みなさんは人の多いところと少ないところ、どちらが好きですか？
それぞれいいところがあるので、甲乙つけ難いとは思うのですが。。。？！
教えてもらえると嬉しいです。
