The internationally famous TED Talks are speeches given by experts to audiences all over the world. Each speech is usually about 12 minutes long, and they are on a huge variety of topics. TED stands for “Technology, Education, Design” but the topics can be anything from heart transplants to electric cars, women’s education to sexual identity.

国際的に有名なTED Talksは、専門家が世界中の聴衆に向けて行うスピーチです。スピーチの長さは通常12分程度で、テーマは実に多岐に渡ります。TEDは「Technology（技術）、Education（教育）、Design（デザイン）」の頭文字を取ったものだが、テーマは心臓移植から電気自動車、女性教育からセクシュアル・アイデンティティーまで、何でもありです。
