日本のママはかわいいお弁当を作ります。アメリカのパパはどんなランチを作りますか?One American dad makes interesting lunches for his children!

Japanese BENTO lunches are usually cute and healthy. Many American parents just make sandwiches for their children (perhaps with an apple or carrot sticks), but this American dad decided to make his children's sandwiches more interesting. Enjoy! http://distractify.com/default-category/dad-makes-art-on-sandwich-bags-with-sharpies/

Good point, Sakochan! :) I agree with you: it would be very difficult to do something like this every day, and the children might feel disappointed if it suddenly stopped. But, like you said, if you did it sometimes/occasionally, it would just be a pleasant surprise! Actually, I remember a few times when my mom wrote a nice little note and put it in my lunch, when I was in elementary school or junior high school. Since I still remember it, I think it was very special for me! :)

It's amusing! I like it. His son must have been looking forward to his lunch time. If I were him, I would feel like seeing it before lunch time. I thought I could do something like that for my daughter. But once I started, I can't stop it because once my daughter begins to look forward to it, she would be disappointed when I can't make it. And I think it is really difficult to keep doing it everyday. So I am amazed that the dad kept doing it everyday for five years! However, it is so interesting that I feel like doing something not just the same thing but a little note or something in my daughter's snack instead of her lunch, since my daughter usually eats school lunch. And this is important for me; I will do it not everyday but only sometimes. Otherwise it would make her disappointed when I don't do it in the end, instead of making her pleased when I do it.
