Lesson Pack Details

This is a 6-lesson pack. You will be issued 5 “coupons” when the first request is confirmed. You will be able to use these coupons for subsequent requests in the pack. Please note that all requests related to this pack must be taken within 60 days of the first lesson date.

Lessons should generally be booked chronologically, meaning that the second lesson should be booked after the first, and so on.

CURRENT STUDENTS ONLY!
This is a Combination lesson where you choose 2 of my 30-minute lessons to make a 60-minute lesson.  

With the variety of these lessons, you will focus on speaking, listening, discussion, pronunciation, and vocabulary.  If you choose a lesson with an article, you will also focus on reading.  

Choose any 2 of the following lessons to make a 60-minute lesson.
  • Would you Rather? or What if? - A presentation with Fun questions of Would you Rather? or What If? (DEFAULT)
  • Mini Picture THIS! - Fun picture description 
  • TED/NEWS/TED-ED Talk - A Video with a quiz and discussion.  
  • Breaking News English - Read an article from breakingnewsenglish.com and learn new vocabulary and discuss an article. 
  • Learn English with News - This is an article from a site such as the Japan Times, BBC, etc. 
  • Learn English with ENGOO NEWS - Read an article from https://engoo.com/app/daily-news and learn new vocabulary and discuss an article with fun questions. (DEFAULT)
  • This Day in History - For this lesson, we will use the site https://www.history.com/this-day-in-history. 
    When your request this lesson, I will send you a link to a list of topics that happened on the day you requested. 
  • Conversation and Coffee - This is a relaxed lesson.  Just grab your favorite beverage (tea, coffee, soda), and let's just have a conversation about anything you would like to talk about.  If you don't have a topic in mind, I can choose a topic and ask questions as well.
  • Dictation Time! - During this lesson, you will either write or type your dictation (Your Choice). Many sources will be used including:  famous quotes, parts of articles, dialogue, parts of stories, and MORE!
If you do not choose 2, the default choices will be chosen for your lesson.

Cancellation of pack lessons

• 'Unstarted' lesson packs(1) can be cancelled any time. Used Points will be completely refunded. If a 'started' lesson pack(2) is cancelled, you will be refunded 50% of the price of the remaining lessons provided that the lessons are unrequested, unconfirmed or not within 24 hours of their scheduled start times.
(1) A lesson pack for which none of the requests have been confirmed by the tutor.
(2) A lesson pack with at least one confirmed request. (By confirming the date and time for the first lesson in the pack the tutor confirms the pack as a whole and coupons are automatically issued)

Cancelling individual requests in a pack

• If you wish to cancel a single lesson that belongs to a pack but not the whole pack, you can do so via the request page. In this case, the coupon used to book the lesson will either be refunded or collected, based on the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy. Please note that any 50% partial refunds in the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy do not apply to lesson packs and the tutor may choose to either refund or collect the coupon in those cases.

Before request is confirmed (fixed)

  • Cancellation possible at any time without charge.

After request is confirmed (fixed)

  • Less than 24hours before lesson start time.→ 100% of price charged.
  • No-Show→ 100% of price charged.
