課程介紹
Do you want to learn English in an interactive way where you get to let your imagination run wild? Then practice creative writing with me!
I will give you a fun prompt based on your age and level and then let you show off your creativity! This class is excellent for students of all ages. It is best for students with Intermediate-Advanced English. You will spend about 15 minutes of the lesson writing your story. We will spend around 10 minutes doing corrections.
We will discuss the basics of writing a story: how to properly structure a story, how to structure the plot, how to make it engaging for the reader by creating mystery or anticipation, and how to use idioms and phrasal verbs to make it fun! I will also correct grammar and vocabulary mistakes.
I use a website that allows us to easily see what you wrote vs. what I corrected. After class you can go over your work by yourself and see what you originally wrote and how it was corrected.
I want all of my students to feel proud of their stories, writing in a second language is a huge achievement! It combines so many skills and shows just how much you have grown in your English abilities. That is why I have made this lesson a four-pack. We will use the first three lessons to write your story and the last lesson to finish up corrections and practice reading it out loud with confidence! You wrote that!
