Our talk will focus on the sciences, humanities, business, and other fields where technical jargon and international experience are concerned.

What are your academic and professional inclinations? If you want to combine your intended or existing vocation with English proficiency, a technical discussion may be what you need to hone your skills.
As a PhD in Physics with research experience in Europe and the US, I can engage in technical conversation on any topic. Just let me know what your interests are, and we can both discuss it, as professionals.
We can call it professional role-play, but based on the reality of the work you want to do, or the studies you want to pursue. This is still an English lesson, designed to cultivate your comfort in communicating professionally so you can radiate confidence in any professional situation where communication is a must.
This can prove useful for students and professionals planning to work abroad, or who plan to spend much of their time with other English speakers in their work.
Included is advice in giving talks and presentations, if desired.
The 50 minute lesson is similar to the free style course I offer, only a bit more formal. Even if your field of interest is not in my personal area of expertise (such as business or philosophy), I will come prepared to hold my end of the conversation, and point out where your own expression can use some polishing.
Like the other course, I will encourage questions so you can clarify issues of expression and comprehension on your end. Since this is about academic and career specialization advance English is highly recommended, but intermediary level English can work as well.
I have had scientific conversations with non-native speakers for many years, at conferences and research collaborations, and I am bilingual. You are in good hands with this one.
