About Pronunciation Lessons
◎ For students who want to practice pronunciation of certain vocabulary.
You can focus on practicing words or sounds that you have find difficult.
When you book a lesson, please let me know what you would like to practice, such as ” I would like to practice katakana words.”
↓Here are some examples. I recommend focusing on one theme per lesson.
・How to count numbers, dates in forms of “Month/Day (〇月〇日)“, place names in Japanese, common Japanese names.
・Focusing on only “la lines (ら行)“, on “sa lines (さ行)” and “za lines (ざ行)“, or on “ta lines (た行)” and “da lines (だ行)“, or focusing on sounds with a small “tsu (っ)” such as “kitte (きって)“.
・Focusing on small “ya (ゃ)“, “yu (ゅ)“, and “yo (ょ)” that are used in pronunciations such as “cha (ちゃ)“, “chu (ちゅ)“, “cho (ちょ)“, or “pya (ぴゃ)“, “pyu (ぴゅ)“, “pyo (ぴょ)“, etc.
・Common katakana terms used in Japanese such as “schedule (スケジュール),” and “passport (パスポート),” etc.
◎ For students who want to focus on pronunciation practice for texts and conversations
If you have a specific textbook or conversation text that you would like to practice, please send me the link of the website or a photo of it when you book a lesson.
For each lesson, please send me no more than one A4-size sheet.
If you don’t have any specific requests, I can provide you with pronunciation textbooks (sentences), so please do not worry.
Your pronunciation file will be recorded by the tutor after the lesson.
Listen to the recordings from your lesson and review your pronunciation and accents to improve your natural intonation.
In order to concentrate on the lesson, I do not permit you to record or tape the lesson.
After your lesson, I will read out loud and record the lesson in a quiet place, but please be aware that there may be some background noise.
Since this is a simplified recording, my voice may sound slightly muffled compared to my voice during the lesson.
No corrections included.
This is a file for your personal uses (practice and review), so please refrain from using it for other purposes or publicly sharing it through social media.
