Description

 

  • Target: This lesson is great for intermediate to advanced level English learners. High school students to adults will find this lesson most enjoyable.
  • Topic: Debate-style conversation about everyday topics like: 'Would you rather drive a big car or a small car, and why?' You will practice communicating your thoughts and opinions naturally in English, as well as coming up with spontaneous rebuttals to my arguments. As you speak, I will give you feedback on your pronunciation, grammar and anything else that may need attention. 
  • Outcome/s: This lesson has many opportunities for practicing English speaking and critical thinking in English, as well as learning new vocabulary phrases. This lesson also encourages independent and spontaneous thought.
  • This lesson can be taken multiple times, as there are many different topics available to explore, and we can build on your critical thinking and debate skills each time.
  • Lesson duration: 35 minutes.
