课程介绍
Welcome and Warm-up (3 minutes):
Greet the student warmly.
Discuss recent experiences navigating in a city or landmarks they are familiar with.
Introduction to the City Scenario (5 minutes):
Present a city map using slides.
Introduce key vocabulary for giving and following directions.
Interactive Vocabulary Exercise (5 minutes):
Use the whiteboard feature for a matching exercise.
Connect directional phrases with meanings.
Role-play Exercise (8 minutes):
Use chosen platforms breakout rooms for role-play.
Assign roles (direction giver and follower) with a dialogue.
Rotate between rooms to provide feedback.
Group Discussion (4 minutes):
Bring the class together for a short discussion.
Share role-play experiences and challenges.
Speaking Practice (3 minutes):
Lead a short speaking activity.
Have the student describe a familiar route or share a city navigation experience.
Review and Q&A (2 minutes):
Summarize key phrases and expressions.
Allow time for questions or clarification.
Closing and Homework Assignment (2 minutes):
Express gratitude.
Assign homework: Create directions for a friend to reach a specific location.
