In this course, I will help you immerse yourself in the reading of French poetry, allowing you to grasp the full beauty and emotion of the verses. You will learn how to recite these poems aloud, conveying their essence with passion and precision.
We will explore various poetic forms, including sonnets, alexandrins (a type of verse consisting of 12 syllables), and free verse. By focusing on the scansion of verses, you will understand how to pronounce syllables effectively, enhancing your oral delivery. Additionally, we will touch upon other specific poetic structures such as haikus and ballades, giving you a broad perspective on French poetry.
