Don't know what to say? Worry no more. In this lesson, you get to widen your perspective by reading about various topics to improve your vocabulary and speaking skills. Test your reading comprehension and share your knowledge, ideas, thoughts, and opinions about the topic.
We can discuss any article of your choice. If you do not have any preference, I can give you a list of topics to choose from.
In this lesson, I will be assessing your reading skills and comprehension, pronunciation, intonation, listening skills, speaking skills, sentence construction, vocabulary, and grammar.
We start by reading a short article with three to six paragraphs. Then, proceed to two reading comprehension questions. Next, we discuss what you think about the article using two or three guide questions so you can practice your speaking skills and for me to assess your English level.
Don't be afraid to make mistakes. Share what you think freely. Consider our lesson a safe space where you can express your opinions without being judged personally. I always make sure my students feel comfortable during my lessons so they can speak their mind freely. In sharing your thoughts and opinions, there are no right or wrong answers. Take this opportunity to practice your speaking skills.
We end the lesson with corrections and suggestions on the things you need to improve when it comes to speaking English.
