DAILY NEWS ARTICLE
OBJECTIVE: To enhance students' reading comprehension, critical thinking, and discussion skills by engaging them with current events through daily news articles.
LESSON STRUCTURE:
1. Introduction: Begin with a brief discussion on the importance of staying informed about current events.
2. Article Presentation: Select and confirm the article to be discussed
3. Reading the Article: Students read the article silently or loudly. Highlight key points, unfamiliar terms, and any questions or reactions will be catered.

4. Comprehension and Discussion: Series of questions to ensure understanding of the article’s main points. Thoughts and opinions about the news article will also be discussed.
5. Reflection and Response: Summarize the article in your own words. Express your personal opinion on the issue. Predict possible future developments related to the article’s topic.
