Learning English early in life has numerous advantages that can open up a world of opportunities. There are numerous reasons why we need to learn English as early as a kid and some are as follows:
1. Children are natural learners. Much like sponges, young children absorb languages effortlessly, including English.
2. Enhances cognitive abilities. Studies have shown that bilingual children often demonstrate superior cognitive abilities, including a better understanding of shapes and patterns.
3. Education opportunities. English is the language of higher education. World-renowned universities like Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, and MIT are all English-speaking institutions. Proficiency in English can allow access to these and many other prestigious educational institutions
4. Improves native language skills. Learning English can also enhance your skills in your native language, as it strengthens general language proficiency and understanding of linguistic structures
5. Better concentration and problem-solving skills. Bilingual individuals often demonstrate superior abilities in focusing on tasks and solving problems than those who speak only one language.
There is much more to discover in English for kids. As a parent, it is a great opportunity if they let their children learn very young.
In this lesson, activities, games, video watching, comprehension, reading stories, and using props are my ways of teaching.
This is for beginners, children in preschool, primary school, and even teens and high school are welcome to take this lesson.
