Use Poetry to Practice your English!
Poetry is one of the most refined forms of language. Practicing it will improve your ability to form new and interesting sentences, your ability to understand nuance, and your vocabulary.
In this lesson, we will learn how to understand English poems and practice by reading some. At the end of the lesson, we will start writing your own poem together, which you can finish on your own. Once you finish your poem, please send it to me so I can give you advice.
Please feel free to bring poems you like to the lesson. If you are new to poetry, don’t worry! I will have poems prepared.
