Digging deep into a passage from one of my favourite fiction novels!

A lesson designed to improve your reading and comprehension skills. A challenging passage for learners who are looking to get closer to fluency, by reading out loud and analysing the meaning of a text. The lesson involves working out the meaning of unfamiliar words based on the surrounding context.
We will start the lesson with a read through of the passage, followed by a discussion of the words that were more challenging. Then, after another read through, we will go through a selection of questions about the passage to improve your ability to extract meaning from difficult sentences.
