How to prepare for homestay and English conversation (NZ version)
Advice for homestay in New Zealand and a little Kiwi English conversation. I also guidance regarding sightseeing and pick up information.

This lesson is for those who are planning to do a homestay in New Zealand (NZ) or those who are thinking about doing a homestay.
It makes your homestay even more fun. It's important to know the lifestyle habits of that country!
Based on my 12 years of experience introducing homestays, I will give you some advice and things to keep in mind regarding homestays.
Since you are planning to stay here, it is a good idea to know the local customs and rules in advance, as it maybe different from life in your country! You will avoid experiencing culture shock. Also, English is essential to communicate a lot with your host family! Don’t worry you don’t need to perfect English! It's okay if you speak wrong sentence! First, let's practice simple expressions and basic English conversation for daily life.
When is summer in NZ?
What kind of clothing should you wear when you are in NZ?
Do I need a souvenir for my host family?
Can I drink the tap water?
Am I a guest during my stay? Or a family member?
Should I help around the house?
What kind of food will be served?
Can I use the internet as much as I want?
I will answer any questions you may have.
