Improve your technical description skills of graphs, charts, diagrams to a native-speaker like level
课程介绍
Develop the ability to accurately describe the kinds of technical graphs, charts, and diagrams that you encounter on the Task 1 Writing section of the IELTS exam. Examples to practice describing are: line graphs / bar charts / pie charts / manufacturing process diagrams and more.
Your tutor will provide you with one chart, graph, or diagram for each lesson.
Before the lesson begins, you write your best approximately 150-250 word description of the chart, graph,or diagram.
During our lesson, I will carefully proofread your description and give helpful suggestions and comments of how to:
1) Improve the level of grammatical accuracy
2) Use specialized vocabulary and expressions used almost exclusively the in Task 1 Writing section. Many of these are different fom those used in the Task 2 essay writing section.
A couple of example writing assignment topics:
@ Types of ethic cuisine dishes served at a reataurant over a 10 year period. (line graph)
@ Traffic accidents by age group over a 15 year period. (pie charts)
