I recently taught my 2000th lesson on Cafetalk, so I’d like to take a moment to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who has taken a lesson with me since I started teaching on Cafetalk. I’ve met a lot of interesting, talented, and intelligent people over the past two years. I’ve also met many people who are courageously facing great challenges in their lives, and I’m happy to be part of their journey to overcome these challenges.
As for what the future holds, I’m currently reviewing my lessons at the beginning of this new year and considering how to expand and improve them. I’ll be adding shorter “quick tips” posts to my column, in addition to the regular “Talking about… in English” posts, I’ll be exploring the possibility of using audio recordings in my lesson files, and I’ll also be working on new lesson files, such as one to help people talk about their favourite movies in English.
I look forward to seeing you all in 2023 and having more great lessons and conversations together!
