Back to Reality (Almost)

2014年10月1日

Hi Everyone!

I am back from my honeymoon and it's funny how most of the time, people return home from vacation more tired than before they left!

For those of you who have taken, or will take, my Phrasal Verb lesson, I am slowly building up a comprehensive list of definitions and examples to teach during class. Ideally, I will explain each phrasal verb, give examples, and then have my students try to create sentences during class. This way, students have a chance to practice speaking as well.

I am always thinking of ways to make my lessons lead into a follow up lesson so that we can build a collaborative learning system together. I believe that people learn best when there is a mini-review at the end of every lesson, and at the beginning of a new lesson.

That being said, I hope to see some of you again, as it is always possible to build upon or put into practice what we learned last time.  =)

Take care, Students!

Dani

P.s. Can you spot the phrasal verbs that I used in this message? ;)

P.p.s. Have you ever wondered what "p.s." stands for?  It's an abbreviation for post scriptum, which is Latin for "written after." Interesting, eh?
