Hi! My name is Jessica and I'm a native English speaker from the United States. When I started learning a foreign language a number of years ago, I quickly learned how challenging it can be, and how exciting and fulfilling it is! Another thing I learned is how much I love sharing knowledge about English. So I began studying for my TEFL certification and reached out as a volunteer ESL tutor. 
I have spent five years tutoring students of different backgrounds and levels, and I am currently working as an English immersion teacher with a virtual academy based in Guatemala. 
Here are some things I love to practice with my students:
  • Pronunciation
  • General Conversation
  • Basic Grammar
  • Verb Tenses
  • Phrasal Verbs
  • and so much more!
I am also fluent in Spanish, so I can teach you in Spanish if that is your native language. Additionally, I can help you learn Spanish if you need it.
No matter what your goals are, I'm a patient and enthusiastic teacher who will help you achieve your dreams! 
My lessons are typically help on video call, and we screenshare to practice reading, listening, etc as needed.
