WHO am I?!
While I was born and raised in California, USA, I have been living in Japan for the past 3 years now! I am half Japanese and can communicate in both English & 日本語!
What I LOVE: TEACHING!
...and I have been doing it for the past 6 years (going on 7). I have worked with all ages, and love the challenge of adapting my lessons to fit the needs of my students. I work very hard to make lessons interesting and interactive, and utilize a variety of activities to help with conversation and grammar skills. I have a fairly energentic personality, and I think that you can feel that energy in my lessons and conversations!
What I HOPE:
Lastly, I really believe that building confidence in language is so important, so I try to really break down the barriers that make students feel nervous and unsure. That being said, I hope I can help build your confidence as an English speaker, and have some fun along the way!
