Hello! I am Palesa, from Botswana, and I teach English. I’ve spent the last two years living in China, and through my experiences, I’ve realized that the best way to learn a language is to immerse yourself in its culture. Watching English movies, listening to music, and trying new foods in English-speaking environments are fantastic ways to improve!
During my time in China, I enjoyed teaching children through interactive methods. I’ve guided my students to build their vocabulary by singing songs, playing games, and watching cartoons while encouraging them to speak English as much as possible. I believe everyone deserves attention and a safe, fun learning environment where they feel free to express themselves. Whether we’re working on grammar, building vocabulary, or practicing conversation, I make sure each session is engaging and suited to the needs of every learner. I can’t wait to explore English with you and help you become more confident!
In my spare time, I enjoy photography, taking long walks or going on hikes, and watching movies. I’m currently pursuing my PhD, so I also enjoy studying and expanding my knowledge. However, I believe in maintaining balance, so I sometimes just like to unwind and relax.
