【Self Introduction】
Hello. My name is Min, and I am a Korean language tutor.
After graduating from university in South Korea, I studied abroad in Japan and worked as a Korean language tutor at a Korean language school in Tokyo.
At that time, I taught a diverse range of ages from young children to (senior) adults, while offering one-on-one and group lessons both in person and online.
I initially had no teaching experience, but I truly enjoyed my job as a teacher and wanted to continue to do so. This is why I am now back in South Korea, studying more about Korean language education while meeting Japanese students online. ^_^
(I currently teach Korean as a freelancer!)
I have been a learning Japanese since I was in high school. I hold certifications and have also lived in Japan.
I am well versed in concerns related to language learning, as well as Japanese and Korean culture.
Therefore, not only can I provide laguage training, but I can also tailor my lessons to meet each individual’s personality and goals.
I would be rejoiced to help you achieve your goals through teaching Korean to you. I will be your sincere language partner on your journey to learning the Korean language.
【About My Teaching Style】
I generally use textbooks as a foundation for my lessons. Grammar and vocabulary points mentioned in these textbooks are also important, so you will learn them one by one while practicing conversations with me.
(The most important thing is to practice speaking so that you can remember what you learned and use it right away!)
While using textbooks to study from, you will probably find things you want pursue, such as “I want to get certified,” “I want to understand the lines from a TV drama in detail,” “I want to know what the lyrics from this song means,” and so on.
(The more you study, the more likely you will have these thoughts. I myself actually was like this as well lol)
I am prepared for this area as well, and I tailor my lessons to your needs, so please feel free to contact me at any time to discuss your interests and I can adjust my lessons to meet your requests.
【Sales Points】
I put a lot of effort into student feedback.
During the lesson, if I find any slightly awkward expression or a incorrect word when the student is speaking, I will immediately correct it and teach you the correct expression or word.
I also put a lot of effort into following up after the lesson.
You can review the expressions you learned in lesson from our messages after lesson. I will give you homework in the form of an essay or diary based on what you learned in the lesson that day, and I will correct them through Skype messages!
【Closing Message】
I believe that it is crucial to stick with and continue learning a language even if it may take a long time.
Don’t give up, and let’s have fun learning with me for a long time!
I look forward to seeing you in my lessons soon!
Thank you for reading this far.
