INTRO

Bonjour! I am Lauren, a 29-year-old French teacher born in the marvelous city of Bordeaux. I love foreign languages and am fluent in French, English, and Spanish.

Through my experiences within French diplomacy and NGOs, I have visited over 25 countries and worked in France, Spain, Ecuador, Thailand, and Turkey. Learning about other cultures and sharing everything I know about France is a real passion for me. That's why I love teaching so much and I can't wait to know more about you and your country!

EXPERIENCE

Over the 5 past years, I have taught more than 2000 lessons and helped hundreds of students get the confidence and the fluency they needed to express themselves proficiently in French. I also worked with university and high school students to boost their grades. I am very proud to add that all of the students I prepared for the official language tests DELF and DALF obtained their certifications! Nothing makes me happier than seeing my students succeed!

METHOD

Whatever your level is, my method remains the same: cultivate your curiosity and your desire to learn. I build my lessons according to your tastes to speed up your learning process and make it easy and fun (even for grammar). I also tie my lessons' content to what is happening in the world. This way, you won't only learn a language, but you will also expand your general knowledge.

EXCLUSIVE MATERIAL

I design my own presentations for the lessons and I will share with you exclusive lists of French movies, books, series, and podcasts. So if you want to know why we love cheese so much or to learn some funny slang, start learning with me!

HOBBIES

I spend my free time rock climbing, skiing, scuba diving, reading, petting my cats, and learning new things. Travels, politics, art, nature, or science, I am curious about everything and am always on the lookout for interesting content to prepare unique lessons on topics YOU like.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree in International affairs and Economics from Sciences Po Bordeaux.
  • Teaching certificate attesting to the completion of 2000 hours of online French lessons.
