☆Tutor Profile☆
- Born in Sapporo, Hokkaido (Japan)
- When I was a fourth grader, I was playing with my friends during art class, and when the teacher got mad at me, I said, “Okay, next time I’ll take my art class seriously!” and worked on a drawing of an onion, which was highly praised by my classmates as well as my teacher. This was the moment that sparked my interest in drawing.
- I would always work on art projects for my summer time studies!
- In high school, I joined the school’s art club and made it to the prefecture level!
- I worked at a shrine in Hokkaido instead of going on to higher education because I was raised in a single mother household.
- I published my first picture book “Kimarigoto (きまりごと)” at the age of 21
- Around the same time, I studied abroad in Canada!
- I offered private art lesson for children in Canada☆
- After returning to Japan, I worked as an English teacher at an English conversation school (during arts & crafts time in my English conversation class, I had a great time with the children ^ ^).
- I held an exhibition for my own paintings in a joint exhibition of artists in Hokkaido.
- I participated in a picture book rental project and produced my second picture book☆
- I am currently living and working in Mexico to become a freelance artist╰(*´︶`*)╯♡
