Hi there! My name is Maha. I am a native speaker from the Philippines but I have been living in Japan for almost 20 years now. I discovered my passion for teaching English when I had my grandchildren and teach them to speak English at their early age. I am currently working in a Child Day Service as a Care Staff who support children and teach english at the same time. Im also a TEFL Certified. My offline and online teaching experience ranges from 3 yrs old kids to elementary school students to adult professionals.


*MY TEACHING STYLE*

Learning a language shouldn't be boring, it should be fun, engaging and interesting! 

My lessons are mainly "Free Conversation" (English, Japanese & Tagalog), but I also do have one lesson that is about traveling throughout Japan and Philippines, so we can talk about the cultures and beautiful places you want to visit.

During my lesson I type out new words that you might learn. I also help students with the word choice, so that it is more natural to practice pronunciation and grammar. If my student speak nihonggo, I can also explain our lesson in japanese language. 

My classes are supportive and focuses on building the students confidence in speaking English while improving their pronunciation. 

It's okay to be shy and to make mistakes because that's how we learn to be a better at everything. 

I am looking forward to meeting new people and help them improve their conversational ability. I am a very patience teacher and I hope that you take a lesson from me. I can't wait to meet you!
