My name is Pattie. I studied law and philosophy in England, and I work as a solicitor in London. I also teach English and Polish and write short articles for legal news websites. This year, I am taking a break to fulfil my dream of living in Japan!

I like manga and anime. I like doing yoga, playing basketball, reading science fiction novels, and talking to chat GPT. I am a cat and a matcha latte person.
However, there are many things I love, travelling has always been my favourite thing to do. I love learning about other cultures and their customs, meeting new people, and learning new languages. I understand how difficult it is to learn a language from scratch. But it does not have to be all grammar and exceptions! I have been teaching Polish (my parents' native tongue to a few students before), and I use various teaching styles varying from person to person. Whether it is through interesting stories, songs, practice talking about your favourite things, or repetition I will be matching my teaching methods to you!
Our lessons will be tailored to any vocabulary category, and language use you need. We can talk about anything and everything while learning new words and grammar.
