I'm Simone, and I've been living in Australia for the past ten years, but I'm originally from Italy. I've moved to Japan recently, and I am very excited to start a new adventure here!
 
I really enjoy talking about various topics, so I'm sure that we can have a fun conversation and help you to improve your Italian or English.

CREATIVE BACKGROUND

Games are my passion and main job; I create videogames and tabletop games.
 
Some of my work include platform games in the style of Super Mario Bros, matching games as mahjong solitaire and educational games. I have also developed a videogame that can be played by visual impaired, that narrate the events with voice and sounds.
 
Currently, I'm working on a board game/role playing game.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Since 2001, I have been teaching several subjects, both in Italian and English, like:
  •     Computer Use for elderly and beginners (Internet Navigation & E-mail, Microsoft Office and Excel)
  •     Italian & English Conversations
  •     Basic Italian
  •     Teach how to play Board Games, Miniature Games and Role Playing Games privately and during public events such as exhibitions.
  •     Playing Board Games and Role Playing Games in English for learners
  •     Video Game Development
  •     Video Game Development (Business Consultation)


LESSON STYLE

Lessons are adjusted to the students and will always focus on your needs.

If you would like to have a different type of lesson and can't find it on my list, feel free to get in contact with me. I might be able to create one that suits you.


I always prefer talking informally, as if my students are long-time friends. If you prefer that we talk politely, please let me know.


GROUP LESSONS

Group lessons will be available about the following subjects (both in English and Italian):
  • Group conversation (you decide the topic)
  • Practice English/Italian while playing a Role Playing Game
  • Workshop: Let's create a small video game together. Everyone contributes with a different skill (programming, art, audio, etc.)
