English
Hello! I'm Deanna, a native English speaker from the UK. After I completed my MA Applied Linguistics and TESOL degree in the UK, I completed the CELTA certificate as I have a passion for teaching English and helping students develop their skills. I taught English in a face-to-face language school from October 2022 until November 2023, where I taught a mixed range of nationalities and levels. Since then, I have taught English online in my spare time and would love to meet new students here on Cafetalk and learn all about your English requirements!

I offer a range of lesson types here on Cafetalk, such as general speaking to focus on pronunciation, communication skills and any specific topics you may wish to practise. I also offer lessons which focus on one specific area, such as applying for jobs, universities, and what to expect in an English-speaking interview, to name a few.

I also offer lessons which are skill-based, where the focus is on a particular language skill or component, such as a grammar topic.

I have experience teaching:
  • Mixed nationalities across levels ranging from A2-C1 (CEFR)
  • Face-to-face and online classes
  • General English / Exam English / English for specific purposes
