Elena.O Tutorenprofil

● Hello everyone, it's nice meeting you. Thank you for visiting my profile page.
My name is Elena, and I have been fascinated by Korean to Japanese translation, so much that I have decided to make my debut as a language teacher.
I was born in Russia, and have been living in Japan for 30 years. I graduated from school in Japan from elementary school all the way to graduate school.
I am Russian in appearance yet Japanese on the inside.
I can speak the following four languages: Japanese, Russian, Korean, and English.
I like to speak, but I still prefer and am good at translation (^▽^)/
I have also completed a course in Korean to Japanese subtitle translation.

☆ There are as many versions of translations as there are people, even when dealing with the same text.
Do you want to read books in Korean, but are unsure about your vocabulary?
Do you struggle memorizing vocabulary from flashcards, or have difficulty remembering terms in general?
Are you interested in reading a Korean book that has not yet been translated into Japanese?
Have you thought about attending a translator’s school, but were concerned about the high price tag?
I am sure that some of you have went through these thoughts.
There are also surprisingly few lessons focused on translating books.

I found a very useful lesson format for translation that I took myself, so I would like to develop such lessons based on it.

My lessons focus on Japanese expressions, and my goal is for you to be able to translate Korean sentences into natural expressions in Japanese.
If you can read Korean sentences with a dictionary, even if you feel that your vocabulary is not up to par, you are welcome to take my lessons!
You may not be able to realize this by just reading a book, but by preparing for it, you will be able to see your weaknesses and improve your skills.
You don’t have to be perfect in your preparation. The important things is to be willing to read and translate yourself.
I will provide explanations for the parts you didn’t understand.
I am also a forever-learner of Korean, so let’s learn together (*^o^*)
If you are a Korean person studying Japanese, you are more than welcome to join my lessons as well!
In addition to my Korean to Japanese translation lessons, I can also offer casual conversation lessons in Russian, Japanese, and Korean.

☆ I enjoy watching Korean dramas, swimming, basketball, photography, and crafts.

Featured Interview

Q. Hi Elena! Thank you for taking the time to do this interview. May I ask you to briefly introduce yourself? A. Hello. I am Elena, and I am a Cafetalk tutor. I was born in Russia but grew up in Japan. Next year will be my 30th year in Japan. I can speak Japanese, Korean, Russian, and English. Because of my appearance, people often speak to me in English when they meet me for the first time (^^; ...
